NEED ANOTHER REASON TO VISIT? HOW ABOUT OUR…

Campus Visit Scholarship - $20,000 over four years!
Make an official visit to Centenary and apply by December 15, and you’ll automatically qualify for a $5,000/year scholarship, renewable for up to 4 years.

If you visit and apply between December 15 and February 15, you’ll still be eligible for $2,500/year for a total of $10,000 over four years.

ACADEMIC AWARDS

All Centenary Academic Awards are renewable for up to four years for students who remain in good standing.

Trustee’s Award - $10,000/year - $40,000 over four years
Eligibility: Minimum 3.0 GPA - Either a 21 ACT composite or 990 Critical Reading/Math SAT score

Dean’s Award - $15,000/year - $60,000 over four years
Eligibility: Minimum 3.3 GPA - Either a 24 ACT composite or 1110 Critical Reading/Math SAT score

President’s Award - $20,000/year - $80,000 over four years
Eligibility: Minimum 3.7 GPA - Either a 28 ACT composite or 1260 Critical Reading/Math SAT score

COMPETITIVE SCHOLARSHIPS

Students who have a minimum 3.7 GPA and either a 28 ACT composite or 1260 Critical Reading/Math SAT score, and who apply and are accepted prior to December 31, are eligible to be invited to campus to compete for the awards below at a scholarship event that will take place prior to February 15.

SPECIAL AWARDS

Legacy Award - $4,000 over four years
Direct descendants of Centenary alumni (grandparent, parent, or sibling) qualify for this $1,000/year award, renewable for up to four years. If an older sibling still attends Centenary, both students will receive the award!

Artistic Merit Award - $8,000 - $20,000 over four years
Artistic merit awards are selected through audition or portfolio review by art, music, and theatre faculty. Students selected for these $2,000-$5,000/year awards are eligible to renew them if they continue to participate in the artistic program.

Minister Dependents - $20,000 over four years
Students who have a parent actively serving as an ordained United Methodist minister qualify for this $5,000/year award, renewable for up to four years.

Texas Equalization Grant - $20,000 over four years
Texas residents with a minimum 3.0 GPA and either a 21 ACT composite or 990 Critical Reading/Math SAT score are eligible for this $5,000/year award, renewable for up to 4 years.

Room Fee Waivers – Automatically available to students in the 710-711 zip code range
