Campus Visit Scholarship - $10,000 over four years!
Make an official visit to Centenary and apply for admission by February 15, and you’ll automatically qualify for a $2,500/year scholarship, renewable for up to three years.
We give you lots of reasons to come and see us!
All Centenary Academic Awards are renewable for up to three years for students who remain in good standing.
Trustee Award - $10,000/year - $40,000 over four years
Eligibility: Minimum 3.0 GPA - Either a 21 ACT composite or 990 Critical Reading/Math SAT score
Dean’s Award - $15,000/year - $60,000 over four years
Eligibility: Minimum 3.3 GPA - Either a 24 ACT composite or 1110 Critical Reading/Math SAT score
President’s Award - $20,000/year - $80,000 over four years
Eligibility: Minimum 3.7 GPA - Either a 28 ACT composite or 1260 Critical Reading/Math SAT score
Students who meet the criteria for the President's Scholarship, and who apply and are accepted prior to December 31, are eligible to be invited to campus to compete for the awards below at a scholarship event that will take place on the weekend of March 6-7, 2015.

Nan Christian Scholarship – Full Tuition, Room and Board
Centenary does not award scholarship in excess of tuition. The above awards will replace all previously awarded institutional scholarships.
INSTITUTIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS
Legacy Award - $4,000 over four years
Direct descendants of Centenary alumni (grandparent, parent, or sibling) qualify for this $1,000/year award, renewable for up to three years. If an older sibling still attends Centenary, both students will receive the award!
Artistic Merit Award - $8,000 - $20,000 over four years
Artistic merit awards are selected through audition or portfolio review by art, music, and theatre faculty. Students selected for these $2,000-$5,000/year awards are eligible to renew them if they continue to participate in the artistic program.
Minister Dependents - $20,000 over four years
Students who have a parent actively serving as an ordained United Methodist minister qualify for this $5,000/year award, renewable for up to three years.
Texas Equalization Grant - $20,000 over four years
Texas residents who are Trustee Scholarship eligible qualify for this $5,000/year award, renewable for up to three years.
Centenary Methodist Grant - Up to $10,000 over four years
Awarded annually to new full-time students. Based on need; requires membership in the United Methodist Church and completion of the FAFSA.
Centenary Out-of-State Grant - Up to $7,000 over four years
Awarded annually to new full-time students. Based on need; requires U.S. residence outside of Louisiana and completion of the FAFSA.
Centenary Grants are available to admitted students with financial need. To be eligible for a Centenary Grant, students must complete the FAFSA.
Room Fee Waivers – Automatically available to students in the 710-711 zip code range
