Deadline for our Early Action applications is normally December 1, but due to widespread problems with the Common App, we have extended the deadline to December 16. This is a non-binding early application deadline which affords students the opportunity to receive priority admission and scholarship consideration. All students who would like to be considered for our Scholar's Weekend competition must apply by our Early Action deadline.
February 15 is the priority deadline for admission and scholarship consideration. Applicants meeting this Regular Decision application deadline will receive full consideration for admission and scholarships, while students submitting applications after this date will be reviewed on a space available basis.
Applications can be processed and reviewed within two weeks. Notification of acacdemic scholarships will be included with a student's acceptance letter.
Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA by February 15. This form shold be submitted electronically at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. The Financial Aid Office will respond with a complete financial aid offer within two weeks of receipt of a FAFSA from those students offered admission to the College.
Students choosing to enroll at Centenary will be required to submit a $250 non-refundable enrollment deposit along with the signed Candidate Reply Form by the May 1 postmark deadline to reserve their space in the entering class. This deposit will be credited to the student's account in the Business Office. All admitted students who submit enrollment deposits will be considered provisional students until a final, official high school transcript (mailed directly from the high school to Centenary), indicating high school graduation date, is received. Admission to Centenary is conditional and can be rescinded by the College if a student experiences a significant decline in their academic performance in high school after having been admitted.
