1967
Nancy Brazzil Farmer, Shreveport, LA, has been named President and CEO of Tuition Plan Consortium (TCP), an organization of more than 250 private colleges and universities nationwide that operates Independent 529 Plan, a pre-paidtuition plan. Nancy took the position on October 10, 2005.

Sara Casey Watts, Plano, TX, has a private practice as a licensed professional counselor. Sara has been a licenced marriage and family therapist for the past 26 years in the North Dallas area.

Debra Cox Rollins, Pineville, LA, is the Assistant Librarian Coordinator for Information Literacy Outreach at Louisiana State University at Alexandria, LA.
1974
Shirley Miller Watts, New Orleans, LA, is a seventh and eighth grade language arts teacher at John Curtis Christian School in the New Orleans area. Shirley is in her 31st year of teaching for this 05-06 school year.
1977
Leah Ades Cooper, Jefferson, TX, and husband Robert are proud to announce the graduation of their oldest daughter, Megan, from the U.S. Air Force Academy this coming May. After a year of "casual duty" at Edward AFB, she will begin flight training at Columbus AFB, Mississippi. Their younger daughter, Rebecca, is enjoying her freshman year at Yale University.

Mary Jo Pleasant Gardere, Dallas, TX, is a kindergarten through sixth grade art teacher at Eladio R. Martinez Learning Center Dallas ISD. Mary Jo completed a masters in education in the Spring of 2005 at Texas A&M Commerce. Mary Jo plans on starting her doctorate in the fall of 2006.

Jan VandenBerg, The Netherlands, is a medical specialist (pulmonologist) working in a large teaching hospital about an hour from Amsterdam. He came to Centenary as an exchange student in 1983 for one year he writes that he loved college life and his fraternity (Kappa Alpha Order).
Scott Luneau, Roanoke, VA, recently returned to the states after six years in Europe studying medicine. He will start his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Virginia-Roanoke. His wife Henrietta and his two children, Patrik, 4 years old, and Gabriella 20 months are all living in Virginia. Scott said his time over seas has been interesting, but it he is glad to be back in the states.

Erin Harris Bremmer, Holly Lake Ranch, TX, completed her M.Ed. from West Texas A&M University as an Educational Diagnostician. Erin is working at Harmony ISD, near Tyler, TX. She is the lead educational diagnostician for the school district.

Paige DuBose, Galveston, TX, is teaching high school in Galveston at the well known Bell High School. Paige teaches 10th and 11th grade math.
Tami Jarecki Lund, Waterford, MI, is the Senior Catering Manager for the Marriott at Centerpoint in Pontiac, Michigan. Tami and her husband Chris had their second child, Reagan Bell on June 26, 2005. Their first child Brady Charles turned 3 on October 20, 2005.

Jackie Burns Jillson, Parkville, MD, has accepted a position at the University of Baltimore. As Director of Development and External Relations for the Merrick School of Business. She is expecting a baby on May 30, 2006.
Renee Sneed, Dallas, TX, of Corgan Associates, Inc., the U.S.'s eighth largest architectural firm focused on design was promoted to vice president of human resources for Corgan. She quickly advanced to her current position in just over six years after serving in various human resources roles within the firm. Active in the American Institute of Architects HR Large Firm Round Table, Sneed is also a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), a certification demonstrating mastery of the HR body of knowledge; accepting the personal challenge to stay informed of new developments in the HR field. A current resident of Dallas' University Park neighborhood, Sneed's extensive background in the human resources field has lead her to join other HR-related professional organizations including the Society of Human Resources Managment (SHRM) and the Dallas Human Resources Association. She is also an avid volunteer for organizations, taking leadership roles within each. She serves as a musical therapist accompanist for the Junior League of Dallas, serves on the Women Leadership Council for the United Way of Dallas, and as a board member and human resources committee chair of the Children's Chorus of Greater Dallas. She has an active interest in music, operating a studio and teaching piano out of her home. Sneed received a Bachelor of Arts in music from Centenary and a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in human resources from the University of North Texas in Dallas.

Ashley Carter, Dallas, TX, is employed in Dallas at Ernst & Young in Expatriate Services.
Dewayne McKoy, Shreveport, LA, is the Senior Consultant for ACS Healthcare Solutions.
Valerie Curtis Moore, Houston, TX, works with the Texas Heart Institute as a faculty member in nano medicine. In May 2005 she graduated from Rice University with a PhD in Chemistry.

Kris Franks, Saginaw, TX, is a graduate student of the University of Texas at Arlington- receiving his masters in Education. Kristopher spent 2003 to 2005 in Germany teaching English, American Studies, and Business. From 2004 to 2005, he won a Fulbright Fellowship.
Elizabeth Quillin, Shreveport, LA, is finishing her third year of medical school at LSUHSC in Shreveport and is ready to begin her final year before graduation and residency. In other news, Elizabeth is engaged to be married to Aaron McLemore of New Roads, LA who is also a third year medical student. He proposed while vacationing in the Bahamas! They are planning to wed in Alexandria, LA in October of 2006.

Mark Lewis, Greensboro, NC, is the head tennis professional at Sherwood Swim and Raquet Club in Greensboro, NC.
Nathan McAbee, Monroe, LA, is a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch. Nathan manages and creates wealth for his clients so they can have more time to enjoy their lives. Nathan married Julie LaDart from Monroe, LA on February 24, 2004.
Jeron Rogers, Shreveport, LA, was appointed the new Chili director of engineering and planning in Rochester, NY. He began work on March 20.
Trent Siskron, Houston, TX, is an independent contractor with NAI, an international real estate firm. Trent specializes in investment sales of office and industrial products for the Houston and other major Texas markets.

Kristin Ballard, Shreveport, LA, is working at Specialty Risk Associates, Inc., in Shreveport as the Executive Assistant and the Assistant Claims Manager.
Vanessa Curtis, Houston, TX, is Birraporetti's Downtown assistant general manager.
Alex Lu, Baton Rouge, LA, is attending grad school at LSU-BR, working towards a PhD in Sociology.
Josh McFarland, Tulsa, OK, is the President and CEO of RedDog Construction. Josh plans on running for the Oklahoma State Senate (as a Republican) in the next 5-8 years.
Amy Sullivan, Clatskanie, OR, was promoted to Referral Manager of a Skilled Care Nursing Facility in St. Helens, Oregon called Meadow Park. It is the sales and marketing position for the company.
Kathryn Thompson, Solana Beach, CA, has moved north of La Jolla to Sonlana Beach, where she rents a fabulous little cottage within walking distance of the beach and a great sushi restaurant. Kathryn is about to start her second year in the biophysics PhD program at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA. She has joined a computational biology lab (http://lccb.scripps.edu/), found a great church, and managed to make a few friends amongst the scientists. Kathryn says, "Life is pretty nice."

Natalie Schoppe, Houston, TX, is a second grade elementary teacher in Houston, TX.
Samuel Williams, Little Rock, AR, is a qualified forensic toxicologist at the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory in Little Rock, AR. She tests biological samples for the presence of drugs.

Births
Kristin Brannon Ayala '87, Aurora, CO, and her husband Gil adopted a daughter, their first child, in October 2005. They went to the People's Republic of China to bring her home, so they can say they went around the world for her! She celebrated her first birthday at her new home on January 5, 2006.
Steve Brouillette '93, Brandon, MS, and his wife Tessa are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Mary Olivia Brouillette, on September 28, 2005.
Natalie Thompson Gilmore '99, Houston, TX, husband Kevin, and daughter Savannah, were blessed to welcome Sydney Rebekah into the Gilmore family on Friday, February 24, 2006, at 12:14pm (the exact time when Savannah was born). She is a healthy and strong little girl, weighing 7lbs. 12 oz. and measuring 20 inches long.
