Candice Endicott Gibson, Bossier City, LA, and her husband, Trey, have moved back to the area from Ruston, Louisiana. She is teaching English at Bossier Parish Community College. Their son, Alex, is now three.
John Hyatt, FPO, AP, is the medical officer for a Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron in Al Anbar province in Iraq. Next summer, he'll leave the Navy to start an opthalmology residency in Memphis, Tennessee.

Kathryn Shelton-Welch, Long Beach, CA, passed away quietly in her sleep on Sunday, June 4. This was completely unexpected. Her death was due to a heart irregularity, mitral valve prolapse, for which she had been under observation but not treatment. Kathryn arrived in the Washington, DC, area on June 3 for a vacation visit and passed away in her parents’ home that night. She was 27 years old and celebrated her third wedding anniversary only two weeks earlier. Kathryn is survived by her parents and sister, Cragin and Kay Shelton ‘71/’72 and Becky Sue Shelton; and her husband, Christopher Welch and brother-in-law Tommy Welch '01. Kathryn had a special concern for the victims of Katrina. She encouraged people to give what they could, however much, to assist those victims.

Dana Beyert, Katy, TX, worked on the MTV Video Music Awards show this past summer, and she actually made an on-camera appearance! After Pink won an award, Dana could be seen on television walking backstage. She also worked at the VH1 Fashion Rocks Show headlining NYC Fashion Week.

Renee Nolen, New Orleans, LA, is a Project Assistant at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine Department of Epidemiology. She is also a student at New Orleans Dance Academy.
Ryan Reid, Vivian, LA, was invited this summer to work with Danish director Rasmus Malling Skov Jeppesen on a series of short plays called Bagsaedebetragninger (Backseat Observations) at the Aarhus Festival in Denmark. Ranked as one of the greatest festival events in Europe, Aarhus pulls in from all over the world artistic performances in theater, music, dance, opera, sports and children's entertainment. Ryan has also worked on commercials and the critically acclaimed short film Deliberate. He lives in Vivian.
