Shreveport-Bossier Alumni Gumbo Party THIS Saturday!

Young Alumni Leadership Award - New This Year!

David Henington, Senior Director of Alumni Relations, announces a new alumni award to be presented at the annual awards dinner during Homecoming 2007. The Young Alumni Leadership Award will go to an alumnus/alumna who has made specific and significant contributions to his/her alma mater. Nominations are now being accepted. Criteria:

  • 35 years of age or younger
  • Active alumni volunteer for at least 3 years
  • Makes annual gifts to the College
  • Promotes Centenary College amongst fellow alumni and other members of the community
  • Active advocate of the College's mission

'Tis the Season, and You're Invited!

Holiday receptions abound for Centenary alumni, students, and friends. Celebrate the holiday season at one or more of these special events:

  • Dallas/Fort Worth: Date and location TBD
  • December 1: Centenary Candlelight Service and Holiday Reception, with party afterwards at the home of Manash '77 and Amy Sarcar
  • December 8: Centenary Night at the Louisiana Boardwalk 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. with performances by the Centenary Choir and the Centenary Strings. Playhouse, the theatre department honor society, will be performing short skits for children.
  • December 10: Houston Holiday Reception
  • December 11: South Louisiana Holiday Reception
  • December 17: Shreveport-Bossier Admissions Open House
  • January 4: Little Rock Alumni and Admissions Reception

Calling All South Florida Alumni

If you live in south Florida and are interested in getting together with other Centenary grads, contact Maria Moores at mmoores@farlieturner.com. She would like to organize a gathering. The time and location will be determined based on the responses she receives.
