Join us for a Centenary College of Louisiana Paris alumni and friends tour as we travel to one of the most beautiful cities in the world! Led by Professor Jefferson Hendricks, who has been taking students and adults to Paris for over twenty years, this trip will focus on Paris as a world leader in demonstrating how to live a “Good Life.”

Paris is about celebrating the most civilized human accomplishments: good food, (all) the arts, religion, history, commerce, science, and education, to name but a few. On this trip, you will get an in-depth opportunity to experience why Paris is the most popular city in the world to visit, and how Paris gives us an historical and cultural perspective that is at the core of living a rich, meaningful life.

Our visit to Paris will take us to some of the greatest art museums in the world where we’ll stand before numerous masterpieces from the Renaissance to the present. We’ll shop at some of the world’s most prestigious department stores — Le Bon Marché and Galeries Lafayette — as well as at a Parisian neighborhood flea market. We’ll marvel at some of the world’s most spectacular buildings, from the Eiffel Tower to the Paris Opera and some of the world’s most glorious churches. We’ll take 2 day trips outside of Paris – one to Monet’s house in Giverny and one to Chartres. And, of course, we’ll dine at a wide range of Parisian restaurants, bistros, and cafes, learning why France is the culinary capital of the world.

We will stay in hotels in central Paris, just two blocks from Notre Dame, where you’ll have the opportunity to pick your preferred type of accommodation.
