• Shrubs or valvate scales
Leaves:
• Pinnately veined, mostly over 5cm long, evergreen, thick and leathery, margin entire, tip pointed, base acute, and glabrous beneath
Flowers:
• Corollas white to yellow
Fruit:
• Mature fruits dark blue nearly globose drupes 6-14mm long with one stone
Growing Information:
• Dry to moist places in open habitats such as dunes and scrub oak sandhills to rich woodlands
