I have reflexes like a Mongoose!
There are many quotes on this trip, and I'm sure at the end I will share them all, but this one deserves a story. So they don't stop at all for pedestrians in Shanghai. I was walking and looking behind me talking, when I unknowingly am walking directly toward this kid on a scooter. As I turned around to look front, my reflexes suddenly kicked in as I jumped to one side with one leg in the air. I was so fast that no one had time to tell me to move! I just barely missed the speeding kid. He literally almost took me out.
Anyway, we are in Guilin right now and we are about to go to the Li River for a River Cruise. We will stay at a Mountain Resort for the next two nights. Since I am exhausted and don't feel like typing, I have made a picture blog for you from Saturday's events. Enjoy!
