A Walk In The Park
Homecoming week has been anything BUT a walk in the park for me. As fun as all of the festivities are, I've been incredibly busy trying to keep up with two choirs and a sorority. All three had different roles in the week, oftentimes overlapping each other. I've felt like an absolute crazy person at times. But the week is finally over! I'll be closing up my homecoming requirements with two church services in the morning with CHOR.
To back track a little bit, last week was out Centenary Musical Theatre Group performance. It was completely student-run and went very well. I loved being able to perform musical theatre numbers again. I haven't done it since high school, and broadway is one of my favorite genres to sing. The performance went so well, I was really happy with the result of our few weeks of work. Rehearsals were fun and definitely payed off in the end! The Conglomerate even gave a glowing review of the show! Check it out at http://www.theccconglomerate.com!
Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures from the show, but I do have pictures from late-night study sessions in the SUB that followed several of our rehearsals!!

Fun times, fun times.
In other news, our Camerata 25th Reunion concert was tonight. The returning alumni did a fabulous job having just gotten their music last night. I was really impressed. And of course, Camerata sounded great as well, if I do say so myself! That was a big concert for us, and I'm glad to have it behind me. One more thing I can check off the list!
Sorry this blog has been so short, I'm absolutely drained tonight! I'll try my best to make the next one longer!
