Red, White, and Black?
I love the weekend! Two whole days with no class where I get to do anything! Ok, well not really anything, but still, two whole days with no class!
I love Fridays because I only have two classes and I'm done at 11 a.m., and done with work by 1:30. So this Friday my tennis partner (L-Ezie) and I decided to go play some tennis since we have our first tournament in about two weeks at Millsaps. So we hit for a bit and kind of watched all the people who were wating in line for the book bazaar which started at five. I've never been but apparently it's a big deal and pretty cool. One lady was outside of the doors waiting at 8 a.m.!

Later on Friday night (which will explain part of my title) I went to the men's soccer game with some friends. It was the most exciting sporting event I had ever been at at Centenary (with the exception of my own tennis matches!) It was a very interesting game, lots of good soccer, and the exciting part — two red cards on our own team. Don't get me wrong, I was disappointed immensely because it meant we had to play with two men down, and we ended up losing. But I had never seen a red card before, let alone two. So as much as it sucked, thanks Ben and Brody! : )
Saturday was a most amazing chill day for me, I just hung out with some friends for lunch, then came back home and did a little studying/relaxing. On Saturday night however I went to men's soccer game number two. It was another exciting game, complete with another red card by the coach. I did not even know this could happen! I don't know much about soccer, but apparently since we don't have an assistant they had to call the game, meaning we lost. Although the soccer part was sad, it was a good social time. Alot of people came and it was fun.

Saturday night was an awesome night, after the game was also very fun. The Theta Chi Fraternity had a "Black and White" party (hence, the rest of my title). And a good number of people came and it was fun! I'm looking forward to the other fraternity parties that will be happening this year.
On Sunday I went to part of the Ladies Soccer Game but had to leave early because it was time to study. I don't think there were any red cards... But who knows.
I also went to a Young Life meeting Sunday night, which if you have not heard of it, it's an amazing organization that works with high school kids in the area. I'll blog more about it some other time.
Now I've got a busy week of school ahead because I have some tests and speeches coming up, so in the words of Mike Jones, "it's time to get to the 90% grind, 10% sleep!"
