Oh, The College Life
So the school work has really started to pick up for me now. I have not been this busy.. uhh yeah, ever in my life!
Now that tennis has officially started, my life is crammed with stuff. A typical day for me this past week pretty much goes like this: Wake up at seven something, go to two classes, grab some lunch, go to work for 2 or more hours, then go straight to my next class, then run home change clothes then straight to practice for a few hours, run home shower eat dinner, and then sit in the library for a few hours. Really, I kid you not, that's all I do these days! I think I may have beat Rachel out for the Library Queen Title!
Even my weekends seem to be like that. In my past blogs I wrote about my awesome weekends and all the fun stuff I did. I definitely could not do that for this one! On Saturday I went to Jackson to do some studying... ended up staying there from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Then the next day I really had to kick it up a notch and I stayed there from oh about 10:30 a.m. till about 5:00 a.m. the next morning! Intense, I know. But I had a big econ speech and my first finance test and I really wanted to do well. And in case you're wondering, I totally dominated both of them. : )
It probably sounds like I'm complaining about lack of sleep, work load, and my busy stuff, but really even though it's hectic sometimes, I love it! I secretly adore all of my business classes so it really works out that I have so much studying to do. Hmm... I guess I could say I have a yearning for the learning. (Yes I really did just say that. Sorry to all of the friends I just embarrassed by saying something that corny) : )
On a different note, I'm pretty excited about this upcoming weekend. We have our first tennis tournament at Millsaps, it should be a good time. A picture of the cramming of 12 people with 12 tennis bags, 12 over night bags, and 12 backpacks in a van will definitely be featured on here next week...
