I Can't Believe It's Already October...
What a week it has been for me here at Centenary...
Last week I had three tests lined up for me, one on Monday and two on Thursday, not so bad right? Well the teacher for the test on Monday somehow something happened and we didn't get the test, so it was cancelled! So it was rescheduled for Wednesday, which again wasn't so bad. But then something came up for me and I ended up having to drive home to Houston Tuesday night, (I'm lucky its only five hours away!) so I had to reschedule my test for Friday.
So I had a whirlwind trip home getting in late Tuesday and leaving Wednesday afternoon, all the while trying to study for my two tests on Thursday. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep that night, but it all worked out for me, I got a one hundred on one of the tests, so the lack of sleep was definitely worth it! After those tests I had to immediately start studying for my next test, but I think I did well so I'm pretty happy. Those few days of studying stunk, but I have no more tests till mid terms next week, so fortunately I can have some sleep and chill time!
I honestly don't know where the time goes these days, right now I feel like I have some time to study for midterms and slow down, but before I know it, it's going to be next Monday and I'm going to have three tests again! But, I guess that's just how life goes! I should probably start listening to all those wise older folk who keep telling me to enjoy life while I'm young.

Anyway, this weekend was pretty stressful, but it also had some fun elements. There were some Alumns in town, including Arthur from my tennis team, so it was awesome to see him! Friday night was the Kappa Sig "Sig Sale" where the members of the fraternity are auctioned off. Alot of people came out and it was definitely a good time.

After Friday it seems like the weekend just flew by! I didn't do much the rest of the weekend but sit around and be a bum. It was a nice break, especially since this week I'll be studying alot of mid terms next week. We also have a second tennis tournament at SFA this weekend, so hopefully I'll have good things to report next week!
Always wear your seatbelt,
Jenn
