Another Week Gone By!
This past week for sure flew by way fast! It was pretty basic though. We are done with tennis for the season so we just have an hour of practice a week, as well as other stuff like running and weights, but my actual pracice day for tennis is Wednesday. Well lucky me this Wednesday it was raining so we got to do sprints and running drills in the gym. Oh so fun, let me tell you! I also had the playoffs for intramural volleyball. We got third, GO THUGS! Or is it THUGZ? I don't know. Anyway! I had two tests as well, one in Marketing and another in Business Law. I got a hundred on marketing which definitely made my day, and I'm still waiting to see about the other one.
Then came this weekend. It was the first weekend in three weeks that I was actually in town with not much to do so it felt kind of weird. On Friday I volunteered with Lindsay and Shep at the Robinson Film Center Gala that they had a Samstown Casino. We had a blast!! We got to help with the auction and hand out party favors, which was what this picture is from.
After that we went down to the Sig House for their Halloween party. It was cool but a lot of people had left since we got there so late. There were some pretty sweet costumes. This is Leigh and Courtney in their get ups.
Saturday I went to the swim meet which was a lot of fun. The girls team won! Then I went to the sub to help make signs for Freak Week, which is the week in the Fall with a bunch of Halloween/Fallish type events. Since I helped out I got my free t-shirt early! Usually to get one you have to go to the event and wait in line forever and they usually run out pretty quick. Saturday night I went and hung out with a bunch of people in the dorms before the KA's Jungle Party.
Sunday was probably the best day of my weekend though. I spent five hours organizing my closet! It sounds stupid but it needed to be done!! But now its Sunday night and I need to get back to studying...
