Tailgating... Centenary Style... and a Few Other Events
It's been awhile! Quick summary of Thanksgiving break: it was amazing. I slept alot, ate alot, went to my first Debutante ball in Baton Rouge, and decorated my apartment for Christmas!
The week, being back was kind of busy with three presentations and a few tests here and there. But other than that it was the same old routine. It's finally cold! I have mixed feelings about that, but anyway! Now for the good part of my week!
On Friday I went to the Kappa Alpha Fraternity Christmas party with Stephen - much fun. First we went to the Christmas service held in Brown chapel. It was beautiful. Each choir on campus sang a few songs, and it definitely got the Christmas spirit going. Then we went to the KA house where the boys exchange presents with their big brothers. After that we went to someone's apartment which was decorated so cute for Christmas and just hung out.

Saturday was the basketball game versus Nicholls state. It was also the day that we had our first tailgate!!!! Shep and I got up early and went to Sam's to buy mass amounts of food. When we got to the Gold Dome, Ross was there waiting to set up the grill and start cooking! It was alot of fun. About 50 people showed up. We threw a frisbee, ate, and just hung out. I want to say thanks to everyone that came out there and donated money. Hopefully we can get this rolling and do it more, and even during baseball season. Special thanks to the baseball and swim team for having practically their whole teams there!

Sunday was the laziest day of my life! Well sort of. I spent a few hours cleaning my apt. and then spent the rest of the day lounging. Anyway, now its prep week so I have lots of studying to do and hopefully will do well on all my finals.

Good Luck on Finals everyone!!
Feliz Navidad!!
Jenn
