I <3 Weekends!
I guess I should probably sum up the rest of homecoming week... but that was kind of a long time ago so I'll only mention what I can remember! A lot of alumni came in town, we watched the games, Georgette and Jeremy were king and queen, I had a lot of fun.. I think that about does it!
The next week was pretty busy because tests started coming :( I had my first stats test and micro test and my first debate back to back! It was NOT fun. I didn't get any sleep Monday-Wednesday. But they are all over and the rest of the week was pretty easy after that!
Friday night two guys who used to be on the tennis team came in so we all went out to eat and hang out with them. Since we had our first tennis match this weekend at McNeese in Lake Charles I had to get to bed right after dinner. We drove there Saturday morning and played at 1:30. We lost, but I was so proud of my doubles match because it was the best we have ever played!! Hopefully we will do better when we start having practice more consistently, the rain has really thrown us off. Also I have class three nights a week so I have to miss those days, which does not help my game! Saturday night was my monthly movie date with one of my good friends. I saw Smokin' Aces, and I'll be honest, I was not really a big fan! It was definitely more of a boy movie!
Sunday I went to my first baseball game of the year which was pretty fun! Then it was Super Bowl time!!! They had a party in the SUB with free pizza so I went in there to watch the first half. Football games are so long that I usually get antsy around half time, so I went and worked out then finished watching the game. I'm kind of sad that the Bears lost, but i'm not too sad because I liked the Colts as well. Peyton Manning is HOT!
Anyway, now it's Sunday night and I'm super exhausted from tennis and working out! We have another match tomorrow that we didn't find out about until last minute because it got rescheduled. I like having matches, but I hate missing my classes!! Oh well, I hope everyone has a good week!!
