"Are My Pants Getting Smaller?"

That’s the question I’ve been asking myself recently. Okay, so I have to tell you… I’ve gained the freshman fifteen and I can’t say it was all muscle. So I’ve noticed over the last few weeks that I’ve been putting on the pounds, but you know, it might not be a bad thing. I was really small, so now I must be hitting my “prime” weight. Yeah, we’ll say that. Not that I’ve been pigging out on caf desserts…

Also in my diet, I’ve added four bottles of water to it. Yeah. Four bottles a day. That probably will really help me out with just my overall health.

This week went well. Wednesday was pretty cool. It turned out to be “orange” day – and no, I didn’t eat any oranges (the fruit). It started in the afternoon. First, every Wednesday I some how manage to get orange chalk all over my jeans. I always forget that someone rubbed it under my desk and then I rub up against it. Yeah, I pretend it's my look sometimes. Then Meagan (my ’10 friend) and I went to Target. Meagan is an experience; let me tell you. BUT Meagan + Target… Well that shouldn’t be legal. We bought groceries upon groceries. Soymilk. Oreos. Yogurt. And Graham crackers. The latter is just so I can pretend to be a child again. I also bought some flowers (orange daisy-types) for my friend and some marked down liquid ice (also orange). I was also basically seeing orange on every billboard or advertisement.

I’m working on a resume' now for work. They’re offering a position as shift supervisor. That’d be a promotion for me (if I could get it). That would be really, really nice considering I am a very, very poor college student. My resume is pretty neat; I'm not going to lie. I went all out with coloring and contrast – things that I maybe shouldn’t worry about. It’s definitely not a boring resume (at least visually). I do write like a lawyer sometimes, though.

Speaking of writing, gosh this week will be crazy. I have three papers due for FYE, one for Comm-180, and one for Philosophy in the next two weeks. I’m actually really excited about all of them (a first) so they might come out like real papers. I’ll have to focus, though, because I usually end up speaking my mind without organizing. That gets me a lowwww grade, but my grades are doing alright for a freshman boy if I do say so myself. I think I might pass. And Graduate. Now if I can just find time to exercise.

Yours truly,

JonnyBoy

P.S. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
