Goodbye Hong Kong

So it's official. I leave for America tomorrow! I've been traveling for two months so I haven't been blogging. I figured I would get one or two more blogs in before the summer is technically over. Fall semester starts in 1 week!

To recap in May there were tons of competitions in Hong Kong and Macau and Lingnan placed 3rd in two of them! Here are some photos (I managed to get around the soaking wet and in a boat bit.)

Our first cometition was on Lamma Island. Lamma Island is one word "hippy"! No cars, no trains to noise, they have their own power plant and generate their own energy. Tond of locals and ex pats live there. I have friends that live there and every weekend there are huge three day party's with DJ's and dancing and beaches sunrises and tents and campfires. The Dragon Boat Races were no different, we crammed half of our team (25-30 people) in to a TINY two room flat for the weekend. Lots of fun and BBQ's.

From there I headed off to China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. Traveling was incredible, well duh. One of the perks of studying abroad is that travel is cheap if you save your money. I will try to make a blog for a few of the countries I visited
