Long December
Apparently I failed to write a blog during the entire month of December. Well…um…my bad. Needless to say (though I still will) it was a hectic, chaotic, crazy month.
Thanksgiving was nice. It was a quiet week, I was able to sleep a good bit and relax. For the actual “Turkey Day” my mom and dad and I spent the day in Houma, Louisiana visiting with the Junot side of our family. I visited, I ate, and I slept.
This is Blaine, my cousin Julie's son.

The day after Thanksgiving I had dinner with some friends at the Doherty home. As always, the night was a delight.
My friend Elizabeth:

Thomas, David, and Tyler

The drive home was very rainy:

Thomas sad about the long line at Burger King:

When I got back to school the countdown to my 19th birthday and final exams began. Some friends and I celebrated my birthday with the very expensive, fine-dining experience only Chili’s restaurant can offer. After that we decided to see Fred Clause, a movie that lacked overall “goodness” in that it was a terrible movie, but a must-see in that you must see it to understand how terrible it really was. The whole thing was awkward, its like they weretrying to be funny in that they were being serious but it was just bizarre. Anyway I think everyone should see it, but you should know its awful going in.
The group minus Elizabeth and Emily:

Lauren like the movie, I did not:

That night I decided that I wanted to do something crazy to go along with the wild night I had thus far and began cleaning and decorating (with Christmas decor) my dorm room.
Our Christmas Tree:

Amelie's Chi-O Owl in festive form:

After doing that, I thought, “Why stop there because it’s two o’clock in the morning?” So I began moving around furniture in my room, I didn’t take pictures of the before and after so you’ll have to take my word for it that moving my bed where my desk was made our room look much cooler. I like it in any case.
For my actual birthday, December 12 (mark it down somewhere or add me as a friend on facebook), I changed my life…well, I changed my hair color. But that’s the first time I’ve ever done that, and so you could say it was life-altering (should there be a hyphen there??) The color was a bit shocking when I first washed out the dye, but with a couple washings and a short adjustment period I became so okay with the hair that you might say I liked it.

After that, I really had to start studying since finals were two days away. That means there aren’t any more pictures, and because I generally use the pictures to write the blog I have nothing else to say. So uh, you have to find something else to do now. Seriously, stop reading.
