Another Week Gone
This week went by really fast. I hope the same will be true about next week. At college there is the fluctuation of peaks and valleys of school work. It happens that usually all your test/papers will be due in the same week and then you will have a couple of weeks in the lecture phase and then it happens again. For the next two weeks I will be having that fun period of college where all of my tests will be. This week shouldn’t be too bad. I only have two tests but they are the first ones of the semester, and I want to do good on them, that way I’m not playing catch up the whole semester. On that note, hopefully I will get some studying done today.
I am a business major so my classes are all in the business school this semester. It is great because that’s what I am interested in, but it’s also hard because each one I need to put a lot of work into it.
My weekend was filled with sports as usual. (If you didn’t get the hint, I love sports) My mom always use to tell my dad and I when I was younger that we would watch ants race on TV if they had it. Friday, we had practice from around 2:30 to around 5 — by the way, I love Friday’s for some reason. I don’t know if it’s the idea of the weekend starting or that practice is not a 6pm, but I love it. After practice we went to the guy’s soccer game. They are hosting a tournament in which they had a game on Friday and one on Saturday. Friday’s game was very exciting except for the fact that the refs were horrible. Two of our players received red cards during the game so we were playing with two men down. The game went into overtime and we lost.
Saturday I woke up early for our 7:30am practice in which we swam about 6 miles. The rest of the day was spent lying around the room (i.e. napping, watching college football, sleeping.) One of my roomie's 21st birthday was on Sunday so his 'rents came down and we went to Outback to celebrate and then to the game. The one in the cowboy hat was the b-day boy...

The soccer team was playing its second game of the tournament which we lost 3-0 due to a forfeit because our coach was ejected from the game. We brought a TV out to the game and had the Texas vs Ohio St. game on while we cheered on the Gents soccer team. We then came back and ate cake in the room with some friends. Finally we went out and partied at the fraternity houses. It was a great weekend — very tiring — but fun!
I'm out
