The Weekend
My weekend began with my family making a quick stop by in Shreveport on their way home from Florida. They went to Panama City for the week for spring break while I was here taking two tests - sounds fair huh? That was Friday, and then Friday evening, our Gymnastics team competed against the Lady Tigers from LSU. The guys' team painted our chests and we went to go support the Ladies. During the last event, which was the floor exercises for Centenary, we were able to sit down on the floor and watch. It was really cool and the girls said that their coach has never let anyone down on the floor like we were able to do. The Ladies got beat by LSU but it's okay (since LSU's gymnastics team is in the top 10 in the nation). After the meet, I went over to a friend's house with my girlfriend and we called it a night.
The next morning began early at 7:30 am. Some members of the swim team were going to go work on a house for Habitat for Humanity - even though only 6 of the 15 who said they were going to volunteer woke up that early. Needless to say, myself and some of the other guys made some wake up visits to some of the younger guys' rooms. We just made sure they knew the importance of a commitment, when we say that we are going to volunteer and people don’t go, it makes you look bad. After we woke them up, it was off to Bossier City (15 mins. away). When we got there, we got to painting...

We were there for two hours - 15 people - and we painted the entire house. After painting for two hours though, it was definitely time to eat.

Next on the schedule was a nap all day. Saturdays in college (when you don’t have homework) are awesome. Saturday night was the Kappa Sigma animal house party.
This is where we defiantly rocked our togas!

...Sunday was a day for church and relaxation.
Peace out
