Library Queen and Caf Reject - Oh the crazy things that happen here!
So I am officially done with week two- Hooray! Actually it's been awesome - I love it here. It's a lot harder than I thought though. I never studied in high school and I am Queen of the Library, but you know, we all need a title...
Only two really significant things happened this week. One, I joined Christian Leadership Center (CLC). I haven't actually started, but I think it is going to be great. The program is designed to help you find your calling, whether that be as a pastor, lay person, or just a Christian leader in the corporate world. We meet on Thursday nights, have small groups once a week, and do mission work. I am a little late starting, but better late than never right?
Second thing that happened - I was banned from the caf. Not even kidding, but (hopefully) only temporarily. I bring my lunch everyday (it's a long story) but I sit in the Caf with my friends. Well twice this week, I was asked to leave because I would not scan my card and be charged for a meal. Apparently people sneak in and steal food. Honestly guys, get a meal plan. Fortunately, I went and talked to Tim (Crowley) and I think I get to come back next week. It's just a precaution right now because so many people are eating without paying.
Other than that, not too much is going on except Labor Day Weekend...and Calculus homework.
