Recruitment is OVER!!!!

Ok, so it's not that I don't like Recruitment. It's just that I felt like Recruitment couldn't have lasted any longer.

Side bar- Recruitment is the extremely busy week in which the Fraternities and Sororities search for new members to offer a bid on Bid day.

I am a member of Chi Omega Sorority and have been since my Freshmen year. I absolutely love it and have met girls whose friendships have made my Centenary Experience absolutely wonderful.

The best day of Recruitment is hands down Bid Day. Bid Day is when all your hard work pays off. All the potential new Members gather in the Smith Building to get their bids. When the process is complete all seniors and new members run down the hill (outside of Magale Library) to their respective houses.

This year on Bid Day I was over come with joy when I saw our new little hooters run down. They are Fabulous!

So, then we spent the rest of the day eating, laying out by the pool, playing on the blow up slip and slide, and eating some more. At midnight we all met back at the Chi Omega house and walked down to all the different Fraternity houses together. I stayed until like 2:00am and then called it night.

Monday (Labor Day) was pretty much just catching up on sleep and HOMEWORK! Oh, and watching the Beverly Hills 90210 marathon that my sister so graciously called and reminded me of.

The rest of my week has been filled with classes and Flag Football intramurals. (We are the 2 year returning champs.)
I am going home (New Orleans) this weekend to see fam. My best friend Naana is coming with me. It's gonna be a blast.
I will fill yall in next time.
