A Blast...Not So Much

So, my weekend in New Orleans turned into five days on the account that I got sick while driving there. You might be thinking "what did Naana do?" while I was sick. Oh don't worry... she was sick too!!! It was horrendous! But, my Mommy was there to take care of us, and all is well now.

Being sick really wasn't any fun but I will say this. All my professors were so awesome about it. I had a Presentation on Tuesday that I got a week long extension on. My Creative Writing Professor also gave me extra time on my story for the week.

Since I have been back in Shreveport my days have been filled with class, meetings, homework, and an occasional run to Target. Oh, my friend Sammy spoke at FCA last night. He graduated a few years back so it was good to see him and I always enjoy his humorous way of teaching us about JC.

Anywho...I guess I should fill you all in on Flag Football. Well, our first game was last week against the ladies from the Softball team. Needless to say we didn't win that game. One of our girls even dislocated her shoulder...what can I say, it's a rough game. But we did win last night against Zeta and that very exciting! I couldn't play though, on the account that I have a sinus infection with a little bronchitis. But I cheered my team on from the side lines of Jones-Rice Field.

Well, the weekend is about to roll around and I don't have any plans...and I LOVE IT! I think I am going to run the Race For the Cure on Saturday so that should be fun. A bunch of friends are going to Austin City Limits and I am excited for them and hope they have a safe trip!

That's all I've got guys.
