Up 'til Dawn / Gentlemen Prefer Chi-O's

This past weekend was awesome! It was a little bit busier than I usually like my weekends to be, but a good time was had by all. Friday was Up 'til Dawn letter writing. This event is when teams from different organizations on campus come together to write letters to family, friends, and alumni asking them to make a donation to the St. Jude's Research Hospital.

I am the Executive Director for Centenary's Up 'til Dawn. The event went so well and our Up 'til Dawn Executive Council worked very hard. We had over 65 people attend. We wrote over 2,000 letters. Our Regional representitive, Bertie came in town for it and was very pleased at the end result.

Saturday was our first Chi Omega date party of the year. The theme was Gentlemen Prefer Chi-O's. It was a spoof from the old Marilyn Monroe movie "Gentelmen Prefer Blondes." Everyone dressed up, the food was really good, and we danced all night. It was pretty awesome, but I was wiped out by the time the buses got back to school.

Sunday morning I woke up and went to church with Ross, Katie, and Tyler. We went to lunch after and the rest of the day was just chilling out and getting homework done.

This weekend the swim team will be compteting against SMU at home. Ross' family will be in town. I am so excited!

Have a great day!
