I Guess my New Year's Resolution Should Be: Keeping Up with my Blog!

Hey everyone!

Well, so much has gone on in the past few weeks (over Winter break and stuff). Christmas was awesome! I spent most of the time in New Orleans with my family. On Christmas day we went to Mississippi to visit family and pretty much celebrated Christmas 5 times! We got back and I spent a few more days in New Orleans and then flew to Flower Mound to surprise Ross for Christmas. The first night we were there I took him to a Mavericks game...they played the Hornets, we had a blast!

I stayed there for New Years. Ross and I went to a really nice dinner and then just hung out at his house, it was pretty low key (But, probably my best New Years ever!).

Anyhow, here is a list of some of the craziness that is going on in my life right now:

1. My sister got engaged! (Sarah and I are maids of honor!)

2. I got the internship I applied for in Washington DC for this Summer!
3. I am taking 18 hours this semester!
4. Up 'til Dawn is trying to get a fashion show together for our finale event in April!
5. Last week our new members in Chi Omega were initiated!

6. Homecoming is next week, the theme is "Let the Good times Roll," we have events every night next week and the parade, game, and party are on Saturday night!
7. I am officially committed to Young Life and am serving on the Byrd High School Young Life Leader team! We are going on a retreat this weekend to Lake Charles.
8. I am running a half marathon in February, and might be joining the Cross Country team next year.
9. My dad was in town this week for business and Ross and I got to hang out with him and had such a great time.
10. The good news is, we got a pause yesterday in the craziness of the beginning of the semester with a much needed Snow Day. It was absolutely marvelous!

And, that is my crazy life! My dad says to live these days in college up because I won't ever get them back, so that is what I am trying to do!

Have a great weekend!
