The Mormon Moment: a Look at What Sets the Latter-day Saints Apart

Mitt Romney's run for Republican Presidential nominee, public conflicts with the Jewish and Hindu communities over baptisms for the dead, the Tony-award-winning Broadway musical “The Book of Mormon,” HBO’s “Big Love,” Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight” books and movies, American Idol runner up David Archuleta – all these and other factors contribute to what is publicly being hailed as the Mormon Moment.

In a timely lecture series Dr. Ross E. Smith of Centenary College will examine those features of Mormonism which distinguish it from contemporary mainstream Christianity, and will explore in what ways Christianity and Mormonism coincide. Join us for this informative and relevant event series!

The Mormon Moment occurs Tuesdays, May 5-June 8, 6:00pm-7:30pm.

Registration is $50. To register send your contact information (name, mailing address, phone number, email address) along with your check for $50 to:
