Graduate Studies at the CLC

Persons who have completed their undergraduate degrees are eligible to apply for graduate theological coursework or master’s degrees through either Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL or St. Paul School of Theology in Kansas City with courses held on the Centenary College campus.

In addition to offering graduate level courses, the Center is planning a full renovation of the third floor of Centenary’s Magale Library. When completed, the theological library will offer advanced research tools to support the intellectual pursuits of students, religious professionals and lay persons throughout the area.

The Research Center/Theological Library will provide:

  • Full access to the archives of the Louisiana Conference of the United Methodist Church,
  • A new theological library complete with the most recent works in the various fields of theology, biblical studies and church leadership,
  • The most widely recognized, professional journals known in graduate theological libraries,
  • Online access to the top theological libraries around the world,
  • Facilities to offer satellite links to simulcast conferences and graduate courses from seminaries, and
  • Classrooms for Master of Divinity and certification courses through the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry.
