Being Featured in Time Magazine: Camerata
Centenary's Camerata, the 53-member vocal group invited to perform at Carnegie Hall during the spring semester, is featured in the Aug. 6, 2007 edition of Time magazine. The full-page feature is part of a two-page spread sponsored by Toyota and honoring the involvement of Centenary trustees Hoyt Yokem and Alan Yokem in their Yokem Toyota dealership and in their support of Centenary College.
The feature includes a photo of the Yokems with conductor Dr. Julia Thorn; Camerata members Shannon Gallier, Travonte Thomas, and Nancy Carey; and Centenary President Dr. Kenneth L. Schwab. Read all about it on page 13. (7/28/07)
