Dr. Michelle Wolkomir, sociology professor at Centenary College, talked about her ethnographic research into the struggles of ex-gay Christian men as part of a segment about such men on the February 21 episode of Interfaith Voices, a widely broadcast public radio program. The show is devoted to "providing engaging and informative discussion on the key public issues of our day through the lenses of many different faith perspectives."

Dr. Wolkomir is the author of the award-winning Be Not Deceived: The Sacred and Sexual Struggles of Gay and Ex-gay Christian Men. During the segment, Wolkomir answered a series of questions from host Dr. Maureen Fiedler, sketching both a brief history of the "Exodus" ex-gay movement as well as unfolding details about her field research among a small group of men.

Interfaith Voices is broadcast on 40 stations through the United States and Canada. Additionally, the show is available both in MP3 format for downloading or streaming, on the Interfaith Voices website.
