Short Courses for High School Students...
Taught by Centenary Faculty
Centenary College Summer Exploration offers enriched activities for students who have completed grades 7 through 11 by May 2007.
There will be two sessions: one from June 11-15 and another from June 18-22. Each session lasts one week, and students may take one or two half-day courses during each session. In addition, two full-day classes are offered during Session II. Morning classes meet from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and afternoon classes meet from 12:30 p.m. – 3 p.m. Early dropoff for morning students (7:30 a.m.) and late pickup for afternoon students (5:30 p.m.) are available. The cost per half-day is $135. Full-day courses or two half-day courses are $275. Lunch is provided for students taking the full-day course or a morning and afternoon class. A $50 non-refundable registration fee is applied to the cost of your course fee.
Parents are invited to attend a “Meet the Professor” reception at the end of each weeklong session. The reception, each Friday from 3-4 p.m., is held in the Sam Peters Building (Office of Admissions) next to Meadows Museum.
