The Purpose of Intercultural Engagement
The purpose of Intercultural Engagement is to promote and encourage the exploration and appreciation of different cultures on our campus and around the globe. Intercultural Engagement also administers exchange programs for faculty/students between the college's many exchange partners. IE also works with international students at Centenary to provide them with the opportunity to discover American culture and the cultures of other exchange and degree-seeking international students, as well as share their own experiences and traditions with the community around them.
Goals of Intercultural Engagement
- To advise students on overseas opportunities for Study Abroad
- To serve as a resource to all international students
- To lead the process in coordinating all international exchange students from other countries matriculating at Centenary College
- To monitor support opportunities for International Activities
