Cultural Excursions

Every semester the Office of Intercultural Engagement offers our international students the chance to participate in a weekend-long trip to an exciting location within a day's drive of Shreveport. Past trips have included visits to New Orleans, Louisiana and Memphis, Tennessee and have included such activities as a swamp tour, NBA basketball game, a visit to Gracel and and The National Civil Rights Museum. The Office of Global Engagement strives to create trips that allow international students to explore the United States' rich American culture, as well as return home with memorable and fun experiences.
