Dr. Chad Fulwider is an assistant professor of history. He received his B.A. in European History from East Tennessee State University, his M.A. in European History and Jewish Identities from Florida International University, and his Ph.D. in Modern European History from Emory University in Atlanta. He is currently teaching advanced courses in European History and a course addressing the history of modern terrorism.
Professor Fulwider joined the Centenary Faculty in 2009. In addition to "all things European," his research interests include nationalism, ethnic minorities, youth movements, and German immigration during the 19th and early 20th centuries.
Dr. Fulwider's dissertation examines German propaganda in the United States during the First World War, and he is currently working on a project analyzing the clandestine German film industry in the United States.
