Human Resource Development

To establish and define the College policy concerning the development and training of the College's internal human resources.


Centenary College recognizes that the training and development of its individual employees is central to the enhancement of College improvement and to their professional growth.

The responsibility for development and training of employees shall reside with unit heads who will assess needs and plan, implement, and evaluate activities. A representative of the Finance & Administration Office will work with unit heads to develop programs, initiate activities, and make recommendations regarding the development of human resources.

Staff members are encouraged to further their education by enrolling in courses of study on campus, by participating in selected workshops and seminars and by staying current through study and research.
