New Student Checklist

Campus Standard Desktop & Laptop Computers

Intel, AMD, and PowerPC based computers will work on our network.

The campus standard is Dell (desktops or laptops) running Windows 7, Vista, or XP and Microsoft Office 2003 or newer.

All computers will also require a wireless or wired network card installed to access the internet and the network settings should set to automatic, which is the default setting.

(Microsoft Office consists of: Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Access, etc.)

Campus Standard Student Storage

We highly recommend students have a thumb drive (USB Portable) with a 1GB or better capacity for storing information. Floppy disks are not recommended for data storage. Thumb drives are available in the college store.
