Mobile Device

  • Configure your device for an Exchange or Activesync connection (use your manual or consult your carrier)
  • Your username is your full email address user@my.centenary.edu
  • Your password is the same password you use to login to webmail
  • The domain field needs to be left blank
  • The server address is m.outlook.com

Settings for POP/IMAP/SMTP

POP setting

  • Server name: pod51019.outlook.com
  • Port: 995
  • Encryption method: SSL

IMAP setting

  • Server name: pod51019.outlook.com
  • Port: 993
  • Encryption method: SSL

SMTP setting

  • Server name: pod51019.outlook.com
  • Port: 587
  • Encryption method: TLS

Live Mail

Configure Windows Live Mail as IMAP

Configure Mac Mail as an Exchange account.

  • Incoming Mail Server: outlook.com
  • Outlook Web Access Server: autodiscover.outlook.com/owa
  • Authentication: Password
  • Outgoing Mail Server: pod51019.outlook.com (use authentication and use your email address and password in the fields)
