How do I setup employee email in my computer?

If you are operating on campus regularly using Outlook do the following:

Outlook 2007

  • Open Outlook. (If this is the first time the account configuration process will start)
  • Choose Microsoft Exchange when prompted.
  • Type your name as you want it to appear when you send an email.
  • Type your @centenary.edu email address and password (the password is the same as your network logon)
  • Click Next and Outlook will automatically configure.

Outlook 2003

  • Open Outlook. (If this is the first time the account configuration process will start)
  • Click Next
  • Click Next again, 'Yes' should already be selected.
  • Choose Microsoft Exchange Server
  • Type exchmb.centenary.local in the box labeled 'Microsoft Exchange Server'
  • Type your username beside the field labeled 'User Name'
  • Click the 'Check Name' button
  • Click Next
  • Click Finish
