
Archives of the Louisiana Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church
The Conference Archives is the repository for all permanent non-current records of enduring administrative, historic, or legal value from the Louisiana Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
These records document the history of the Louisiana Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church and its predecessor conferences. The Conference Archives includes records from annual conference meetings and conference offices, records from district superintendent offices, minutes of the various boards and agencies or committees of the conference, and records from closed and abandoned churches. Also included are official publications of the conference such as the conference journal and newspaper.

The commission's website provides a great deal of information and resources on the history of United Methodism in Louisiana. This includes a Historical Register of active churches, an Honor Roll database of clergy and spouse memoirs, and locations of historic sites in the conference.
