PART III

Early Methodist Circuit Riders And Those Who Followed Them To The "Washitaw" Area And To Monroe, Louisiana

For the year given I have tried to show that names of the Bishops, Presiding Elders, and Pastors and appointments

1792-1969
Some missing data can be added later….Some special events are noted…. Apointments to Natchez, from which grew Methodist work in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama and Texas – and to “Washita”, Monroe and West Monroe. Many humble, dedicated and self-sacrificing people have made possible the Methodism of today.
