On September 17, 1787, the U.S. Constitutional Convention signed the Constitution. Since 2004, the anniversary of this event has been celebrated as a federal observance.
In 2010, Centenary will celebrate Constitution Day with its annual Constitution Day Lecture, to be held Tuesday, Sept. 14, beginning at 11 a.m. in the Kilpatrick Auditorium. Henry C. Walker, a prominent criminal law attorney (retired) from Shreveport will be the guest speaker. Find out more about the event.
