Video Circulation
The Library’s movie videotape collection circulates for a 2-day period. Only one video can be checked out at a time. If any video accrues a fine that is not paid when the video is returned, video checkout privileges are suspended until the fine is paid. Videos cannot be renewed. A video must be returned to the CIrculation Desk, checked in, then checked out as a new circulation record.
Reference videos circulate for a 7-day period. There is no limit to the number checked out at a time. Ordinary fines are accrued on any late returns.
Any video placed on course reserve will have a borrowing time limit determined by the faculty member. Only students enrolled in that course will be able to borrow the video. Fines of $5.00 per day accrue on reserve videos. In addition, the faculty member will be informed of any student not returning a reserve video.
All videos checked out for one day must be returned at the hour the library opens no matter what time of the previous day the video was checked out.
Faculty may check out videos for an extended time for classroom use.
