Cycling and Triathlon Club

President: Taylor Atkinson
Vice President: Will Rolfe
Coach/Director: Allen Moore
Advisor: Butch Jordan

What we're about:
An active athletic club since the Fall of 2008, we participate in competitive collegiate cycling and multi-sport events. We're a member of the South Central Collegiate Cycling Conference (SCCCC) for cycling (road and MTB) and the South Mid-west Conference (SMW) for triathlon and other multi-sports. The club is also nationally affiliated with USACycling and USATriathlon. We welcome any student who is interested in competitive events at the collegiate level (racing your bike in some form or fashion!).

Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)

Advisor: Adam Walsh

What We're About
The mission of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is to serve as a vehicle to promote communication between the athletic administration and student-athletes at Centenary by providing a student-athlete voice within the department, discussing issues and concerns, and providing feedback as necessary. SAAC also serves in a leadership role recruiting fellow student-athletes to serve the campus, Evanston, and the surrounding area through a variety of community service programs and events. Further, it is our privilege and responsibility to enhance the relationships between the Athletic Department and all other realms within Centenary College. SAAC is a fantastic way to further strengthen the bonds within the student-athlete community. Through SAAC, athletes are granted a voice in the administration and receive opportunities to become involved in their community. SAAC helps athletes to develop skills whereby they can become even better leaders than they already are.

Track and Field Club Team

Captains: Chad Nelson and Grayson Collins
Advisor: Dr. Shelly Armstrong

What We're About

The Centenary Track and Field Club Team strives to motivate college student athletes of Centenary College to achieve leadership, self-discipline, sportsmanship, integrity, and a sense of community in a nonviolent, drug free atmosphere. We compete with surrounding colleges and universities such as Northwestern University, Texas A&M Commerce University, and many other highly athletic institutions. Our program offers athletes a dynamic balance through team/individual elements of track and field as a medium to strengthen work ethics and foster self-esteem. Track is not about just running and athletic conditioning; moreover, it is a training ground for our next generation of productive citizens.

The Track and Field club is always grateful when donations are made. This club is an expensive endeavor, but we will stop at no means. If you are interested in assisting in anyway, please feel free to contact the following Gents!
