Sigma Beta Delta - Business
President: Dr. Chris Martin
Advisor: Dr. Barbara Davis
What We're About
Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society is an international honor society for students in business, management, and administration. It honors students who have attained superior records in business programs in schools and colleges with regional accreditation. The principles of Sigma Beta Delta are wisdom, honor and the pursuit of meaningful aspirations. Wisdom is not merely information, but allows one to acknowledge information, consider its validity and relevance, and then incorporate into one's own life what is appropriate. Honorable persons have chosen to live a life that is bounded by integrity and ethical decision-making. Serving humankind and developing personally and professionally will lead to a life of meaning and satisfaction. These principles are embraced by the members selected to become part of Sigma Beta Delta. Membership is limited to juniors and seniors in the top 15% of the class with a 3.5 minimum grade point average and nomination by the Frost School of Business faculty. More information may be found at sigmabetadelta.org.
