Rotaract

What We're About

The purpose of Rotaract is to provide an opportunity for young men and women to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.

Rotaract at Centenary College will make it a goal to address the institution's and community's social needs. Not only will we make a better change for this community but will always promote professionalism and international understanding through a framework of friendship and service above self.

We meet on Tuesday's from 5:30pm-6:15pm in the Centenary Room of the Cafeteria.

Centenary Schools for Schools exists to raise money to rebuild schools in Uganda, build early-warning radio networks in D.R. Congo, and fund the construction of child soldier rehabilitation centers in LRA-affected areas. We host a variety of activities to raise awareness about Africa’s longest running war and abducted child soldiers. We are a chapter of Invisible Children's international Schools for Schools program, and regularly host Invisible Children screenings.

Up Til Dawn

What We're About
Up ‘til Dawn has the following objectives, purposes, and goals:

  • To unite the Centenary College campus in an effort spearheaded and led by the Centenary College student body.
  • To raise much needed dollars for the children of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
  • To promote the value of service learning to all Centenary College students.
  • To provide students the opportunity to accumulate valuable, practical knowledge through their Executive Board planning and program execution work.
