In our daily lives, we the men of Alpha Iota chapter of Kappa Alpha
order strive to live up to the ideals of chivalry and gentility.
Specifically, these ideals are highlighted in our mission statement.

Alpha Iota Chapter, an active chapter of Kappa Alpha Order, is founded on
the principles of trust, communication, respect, brotherhood, teamwork,
gentility, chivalry, and a spirit of excellence in all areas as exemplified
by our spiritual founder, Robert E. Lee. Lee stood for the highest
standards, the most chivalrous conduct, and the finest traits of manliness,
values also supported by Alpha Iota Chapter. In times of prosperity, we
look to our reputation on campus and nationally, our Ammen and Scholarship
Awards, our house, campus leadership and involvement, and our brotherhood.
In times of adversity, we turn to within and our brothers, we look outwards
towards alumni support, our by-laws and KA laws, the National Office, and
our province commander. We celebrate our brotherhood by participating in
intramural's, throwing parties, attending campus and outside events, and
having fun through the brotherhood we share. We are the gentleman of Alpha
Iota Chapter, Kappa ALpha Order.
