What do you like to do when not in class or dancing of course?
I am usually really busy! I currently am working at Pie Works but just got hired on Monday at Chili's actually. So I am constantly working and then cramming. But I really I LOVE LOVE LOVE going home, so if you can't find me on weekends working I am definitely taking advantage of the time off at home spending time with my family and my boyfriend.
Your favorite moment this year on Leading Ladies?
I really enjoyed the first dance that we performed this year for Halloween Hooplah. People were really surprised to see our team go from 5 to 11. And the dance we pretty exciting too. So people really got into it, which always helps us to perform at our best.
Your worst moment this year on Leading Ladies?
I would honestly have to say when I went off on one of the girls on the sidelines. I took something she said wrong, and got really defensive and then we were arguing pretty bad. I'm usually so laid back and that wasn't me at all. And I would like to take this opportunity to say I'm sorry to her. She knows who she is.
Most embarassing moment last year?
Well that would have to be the night before the Fall try-outs this year, when we were teaching the girls one of the dances we learned from camp this summer. Sara and I were showing them a certain part, and somehow during that demonstration I put weight on my leg wrong and I dislocated my knee cap. I was out for a little while and had to be taken on a stretcher in an ambulance from the second floor and everything. The embarassing part was that the move I did it to was sort of a body roll up and I came up in sort of a "stripper" move. Try telling doctors about that. It was ridiculous.
What are you most looking forward to this year on the Leading Ladies?
Hopefully adding in both number and talent again. This is going to be my 4th and final year on the team, so I have to make it the best. Then I have to make sure that I leave the team in good hands.
What are you hoping to bring to this team?
My constant determination and dedicated attitude. I don't do a lot of things right, but I never give up either. I know that Keeley would tell you in a heart beat that I couldn't dance hardly at all my freshman year at camp, but I picked up beautifully after school started and I have gotten better and better at learning dances quicker. Now I just need to work on form and SMILING during performances instead of apparently making sex faces. lol.
Something you want people to know about you:
I am in charge of this website, which is really difficult to do b/c I learned HTML and then our wonderful IT department decided to switch the whole system to MOLAwiki (More or Less A wiki). Try to understand something that is "more or less" something else.
