The Epsilon Chapter of Kappa Sigma at Centenary

The Epsilon chapter of Kappa Sigma Fraternity was founded on August 29,1885 at Centenary College. The Epsilon Chapter is the oldest fraternity on campus, as well as the oldest chapter of Kappa Sigma West of the Mississippi River. We are considered one of the largest and oldest organizations on Centenary's campus to this day. Our purpose is to achieve the total development of a better man academically, socially, culturally, civically, and as a successful role model to others. We represent a wide variety of talents, interests, and backgrounds. We draw upon diversity to help achieve our purpose. With members hailing from Ohio to New Orleans, majors as varied as Economics and Geology, and extracurricular interest, which run the entire spectrum. Our members participate in many other extracurricular activates on campus such as Student Government Association, Centenary Activities Board, College Republicans, RHA, Ambassadors, Cline Hall Council, FCA, and Orientation Staff. We each learn an invaluable amount of knowledge from each other that we will take with us long after out graduation. We offer many opportunities to learn leadership and teamwork, be it through, among other things, serving on our executive council, planning community service through the Philanthropy Committee, or planning one of our ten major parties with the Social Committee. Some our recent accomplishments include school wide intramural champions, providing over 300 hours of community service to organizations such as Race for the Cure and St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and having the highest fraternity gpa for the last three years. We take great pride in our chapter, and wish you the best of luck in finding the chapter on Centenary's campus that is right for you.
