Grimsley and Carol Bartholmey Graham, Rogers, Ark., visited with Jim and Diane Hercher ’69 Key in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on their way to an Elderhostel wildflower course at Grand Targhee, Wyo. Carol is a medical technologist in an oncology clinic in Rogers, Ark., and Grimsley teaches English at Rogers High School. Jim and Diane are both retired scientists from the Department of Energy’s Idaho National Lab in Idaho Falls.
Carolyn Webb Warner, Shreveport, and husband Bill’s retirement home was in Bay St. Louis, Miss., prior to Hurricane Katrina. Luckily, they had held onto their Shreveport residence. They are housing the neighbors who made it to Shreveport. A personal note to those who knew Carolyn’s first husband, Michael Poe ‘69 (TKE). Dick Scott-Welch, Rock Island, Tenn., has retired and moved to his wife’s family farm.

Tom Musselman, Fredericksburg, Texas, drew the highest vote total in the Fredericksburg City Council race on May 7, 2005. Now in his 14th year teaching, he has been at Fredericksburg High School since 1994 and has been the Social Studies Department head since 1997. He teaches Advanced Placement U.S. history, AP U.S. government and politics, and economics. Fredericksburg is consistently ranked as one of the top destination spots in Texas.

David and Patricia Lawrence Schaller, Pittsburg, Kan., have accepted a full-time clergy couple position with First Presbyterian Church, Jonesboro, Ark.
Mike Warner, Webster Groves, Mo., and wife Connie are both attorneys and live in the St. Louis area. She specializes in insurance defense and he practices patent law for Phizer, Inc. He was recently promoted to head of the Phizer St. Louis Patent Department. He and Connie have four grandchildren, all of whom live in St. Louis.
Bill Zeller, Carlisle, Pa., is a student again at the U.S. Army War College at Carlisle Barracks. He completed commanding the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia Europe at Mainz Kastel, Germany, a Defense Logistics Agency Command, and arrived at Carlisle in August. He is on the promotion list for Colonel and will pin on in winter 2006.

Lee Jamison, Dodge, Texas, has a gallery and a goal “to raise awareness of the beauty of the region we call the ‘Woodland Hills,’ to educate the people of that region in the necessity of art and creative awareness, and to use art as a tool for developing the local economy in such a way that we do not fall victim to the unfettered spread of the metropolitan blight of Houston.” Lee has been a full-time artist specializing in landscapes and historical painting for more than 20 years. He also writes a column for The Huntsville Item, in which he addressess cultural and political issues.
Julia Van Tiem, Shreveport, has been commissioned a lay ecclesial minister for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Shreveport, following a four-year program providing 1,000 hours of intense academic, spiritual and pastoral formation. Bishop William Friend declared Julia a master catechist, a permanent eucharistic minister and gave her permission to preach in the absence of a priest or deacon as part of the diaconate ordination ceremonies. Her certification is national and qualifies her for a host of leadership positions in the church.
