Dorothy Moss Hanks, Shreveport, La., is 93 and still active and independent. Dorothy was the second professional librarian Centenary ever had and the first for Shreve Memorial Library downtown from 1936 until 1938. She then married and moved to Iowa for 10 years. She was inducted into the C.E. Byrd Hall of Fame at a luncheon at East Ridge Country Club on Oct. 20, 2006.
