John Stovall, Crockett, Texas, was named Dentist of the Year by the Texas Academy of General Dentistry. The award, presented annually since 1965, is considered the most prestigious honor a Texas dentist can earn.

Danny Caudle, Katy, Texas, is retired from Conoco and living in the Houston area.

John Swor, Bossier City, La., is a retired CPA.

Ralph Howard, Wamego, Kansas, retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture-ARS lab in Manhattan, Kansas after a successful career in chemical ecology.

Bonita Carter Davis, Vivian, La., is working for Shreve Memorial Library, primarily at the North Caddo Branch, as the evening and weekend supervisor.

Don Scroggin, Washington, D.C., was a member of the Tobacco Litigation Team at the U.S. Department of Justice, which on Aug. 17, 2006 won the large federal tobacco case, in which the D.C. U.S. District Court found the tobacco companies guilty of numerous offenses. Don now works in immigration law and greatly enjoys his challenging and timely work. Don and his son, Patrick, recently conducted the graveside services for Don’s mother in Shreveport, with the participation of Dr. Lee Morgan H’96 and David Henington ‘82.
1967
Kay Bucy Benson, Round Rock, Texas, has retired and relocated back to Texas after being in the Virginia/Washington, D.C. area for 15 years. She and her husband moved to Round Rock, TX north of Austin to be closer to most of their family. She joined the Williamson County Chorus located in Georgetown, Texas, and has one concert season under her belt. She had the opportunity to sing at Fort Hood for the troops and their families on March 24, 2007.
Matt Lowe, Nacogdoches, Texas, is an associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Medical Branch.

Scott Crook, Fayetteville, Ark., owns and operates Pack Rat Outdoor Center and at age 60 has decided to turn over the day-to-day operations to his staff so that he and Carolyn can start taking more time off.
Katherine Lee, Denham Springs, La., taught school for 11 years and is now retired. She has two children and one grandchild.
